This was posted this past summer when it was FSBO (at least I think so), but the price drop is large enough to warrant a renewed listing. The Jordan Park area has some great MCM homes, while some need love, this one has already has a fair amount of updating.

This place has been on the market for some time now. I went over to it during the summer and I have to say, the house itself is very lovely and sits on a nice city lot. The street that it is one also has another nice MCM home that was sold last year. I think this come could be a real gem, though I very well don’t think they’ll ever get that price.
The downside, which I am sure many would love to point out, is the location. For those out of town, some locals seem very afraid of all of East Austin and think of it as the ghetto. It isn’t (save perhaps a handful of streets) compared to every other urban city I’ve been to or lived in, but we are still a bit small town here on some things. That gives Austin some of its charm but also can be annoying at times.
